IAMAW District 250 provided training for each Local Lodge representative to better communicate to their members through their website, as well as to reach out to the youth and next generation of IAMAW members.
The Training was held on October 23rd – 25th, 2023, at the District Lodge Office, in Surrey BC. In attendance for the training were Cheryl Semonovitch Secretary-Treasurer 250, Mike Ferns President, Gary Chalmers Recording Secretary Local 550, Chris Schreyer President Local 456, Craig Reimer Recording Secretary Local 692, Pawan Aulakh Web Steward Local 11, John Kang Web Steward Local 1857, and Al Cyr Business Representative Dl 250.
The training consisted of Web-based training, web maintenance, communication skills, designing the website, and the ability to provide information to our members in a timely manner.
The training was delivered by Frank Saptel from the Canadian Office.
