Winpisinger Education and Technology Center (W3) in Hollywood, MD. The group is preparing for upcoming negotiations with Harley-Davidson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The four-day training, led by IAM Education Representative Jon Irvine and IAM Director of Collective Bargaining Craig Norman, equipped the bargaining committee with the tools necessary to develop a strategic negotiating plan. The training included writing contract language, analyzing the company\u2019s strengths and weaknesses, and effective communication with members. The week concluded with the group delivering a bargaining presentation, a facet of the class designed to simulate the atmosphere at the bargaining table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese negotiations were coordinated with our Siblings from the USW,\u201d said Norman, lead negotiator for the IAM. \u201cOur unions collaborated and developed a path forward through intense negotiation preparation training.
