{"id":650,"date":"2024-10-28T13:28:11","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T20:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iamaw11.ca\/?p=650"},"modified":"2024-10-28T20:32:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-29T03:32:14","slug":"information-for-laid-off-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iamaw11.ca\/?p=650","title":{"rendered":"INFORMATION FOR LAID OFF WORKERS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><u>ARC EMPLOYEE BENEFITS COVERAGE PLAN WILL CEASE ON NOVEMBER 30,2024.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>EI BENEFITS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Employment Insurance (EI) provides regular benefits to individuals who lose their job.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Always apply for EI benefits as soon as you stop working.&nbsp;To Apply for EI benefits go to the website : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/services\/benefits\/ei\/ei-regular-benefit\/apply.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/services\/benefits\/ei\/ei-regular-benefit\/apply.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>MEMBERS OFF WORK DUE TO UNEMPLOYMENT<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please notify the Union Office immediately if you are off for a month or more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>LODGE 11 DUES STRUCTURE &#8211;<\/u><\/strong> <strong>Out of Work Dues :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Five ($5.00) dollars per month.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you <strong><u>do not pay<\/u><\/strong> out of work dues then the <strong>Reinstatement fees (Four Times your Hourly Rate)<\/strong> will be charged when you return to the Employer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>CHANGE OF ADDRESS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please also note, it is the members responsibility to communicate any changes (eg. Address, Name Change, E-mail changes) to the Union Office.
